RIYADH, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Saudi forces has continued to fight back Houthi truce violations and killed dozens of the militia members in the process, Al Arabiya local news reported on Sunday.

The casualties fell when the Saudi forces destroyed missile launchers of Houthis in Yemen near the border city Najran. The forces also destroyed a number of vehicles during failed infiltration attempt by militia members.

The Saudi-led coalition announced on Thursday that it will respond to violations of Houthis to the UN-brokered 72-hour truce that started at 11:59 p.m. local time (2059 GMT) on Wednesday.

The coalition spokesperson Major-General Ahmed Al Asiri told local TV on Thursday that the attacks didn't stop since the beginning of the truce.

The truce was initiated to allow the entry of humanitarian and medical aids to Yemenis who have been suffering since the beginning of the war in March 2015.
