PARIS, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- After Britain's vote to quit the European Union, France should aim to bring more investment in the aftermath, French President Francois Hollande said on Tuesday.
"Britain's decision to leave the European Union should make us seek even more investments. We must show France's attractiveness as a business destination," Hollande said.
"It's not about taking what Britons have. But once they've made this choice, they must live with the consequences and we, France, must become the point of access to the European market," he added.
The French president also pledged to improve climate investment via appropriate fiscal rules that would attract more inflows.
He made the statements during a visit to U.S. FedEx package delivery company in the Parisian suburb of Roissy.
