KATHMANDU, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Nepali Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Saturday left for India to participate in the BRICS-BIMSTEC outreach summit to be held in Goa.

This is Dahal's second visit to India after he became prime minister on August 4. He had paid a state visit to the southern neighbour in September at the invitation of his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

Heads of state and government of five BRICS nations - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa - are scheduled to spend the weekend in Goa for their eighth annual gathering, after India assumed chair of the bloc early this year.

India will also host leaders of neighboring Bangladesh, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand for the BRICS-BIMSTEC outreach summit.
