Airport, two subway stations in St. Petersburg closed due to false alarm

ST. PETERSBURG, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Pulkovo airport and two subway stations Nevsky Prospect and Dostoevskaya were closed for inspection on Friday in St. Petersburg due to a false bomb report and unattended bags.

Local media reported that the police received an anonymous call about bomb in the airport at 4:00 p.m. local time. Passengers and airport employees were evacuated, the terminal was closed for about 2 hours. No dangerous items were found.

Nevsky Prospect and Dostoevskaya subway stations were closed earlier for an hour due to unattended bags which turned out to be garbage.
