LONDON, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Britain currently has "no plans for military action" in Syria, a spokesman for Prime Minister Theresa May said on Thursday.
"There are no plans for military action. We are working with the international community to look at how to bring the conflict to an end," said the spokesman.
The remark came after Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said that Britain should be "looking again at the more kinetic options, the military options",when addressing the Foreign Affairs Committee early on Thursday.
According to a newly released Sky Data survey, 46 percent of UK respondents said they would support British military involvement to stop the crisis in Aleppo.
But 51 percent opposed Britain's involvement in the war-stricken city if it meant conflict with Russia, the survey showed.
