BANGKOK, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Thai National Legislative Assembly (NLA) on Thursday night unexpectedly ended an extraordinary meeting without announcing the successor of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
The NLA held the meeting to discuss details of funeral arrangements and the succession to the Thai throne after a nine-minute mourning.
The late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej passed away at 3:52 p.m. local time Thursday, ending seven decades on the throne.
