RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct. 2 (Xinhua) -- Changchun Yatai striker Marcelo Moreno is being pursued by Brazilian giants Corinthians, according to widespread media reports.

The Bolivia international is said to be one of five strikers being sought by the six-time Brazilian Serie A champions.

The others are Botafogo's Sassa, CRB's Luidy, Figueirense's Rafael Moura and Santa Cruz's Keno, the Sambafoot news portal reported.

Moreno is in the final weeks of a two-year contract with Changchun Yatai, meaning he is now free to sign a pre-contract with another club.

The 29-year-old former Wigan and Werder Bremen forward has scored 20 goals in 48 appearances for the Chinese Super League outfit, which he joined from Cruzeiro in January 2015.

Corinthians, last year's Brazilian champions, are currently seventh in the standings with 10 matches remaining this season.
