HONG KONG, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted 252 km S of Ohonua, Tonga at 00:32:58 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 1.0 km, was initially determined to be at 23.6064 degrees south latitude and 174.7655 degrees west longitude.
