SYDNEY, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Sheep graziers in Australia's New South Wales have been warned to watch out for their flocks as rain, damaging winds and a plunge in temperatures is predicted to hit parts of the state on Friday night.

The Australian Associated Press reports that the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a warning to sheep graziers across most parts of the state amid fears that lambs and sheep could die from exposure to Friday's weather conditions which is expected to gradually ease on Saturday.

Damaging winds are set to hit the central and northern ranges as well as the Hunter region throughout Friday, while a flood warning remains for rivers throughout the state's central west.

A evacuation warning has been issued for low-lying areas in Condobolin and the Willow Bend Community towns in NSW, with further rain predicted for the already flood-ravaged region.

"We're trying to get on the front foot and the SES (State Emergency Service) have done door knocks on the ground and warned everyone about the rain in coming days," NSW SES duty operations officer Neil Wiblin said.

The warnings come a day after regional NSW was hit by the tail end of the storm cell that had wreaked havoc in South Australia.

The central west community of Forbes in NSW could be inundated by a second peak of the Lachlan River at the same time the town's weekend floodwaters reach downstream Condobolin mid-next week.

At least 50,000 sandbags have been transported into both towns from Maitland in the Hunter Valley and extra crews have been brought in from around the state.

Numerous properties remain subject to an evacuation order while sittings at courthouses in Forbes, Condobolin and Lake Cargelligo, regional towns in NSW have been cancelled for next week.
