SEOUL, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- Seoul shares ended lower on Friday.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) declined 25.09 points, or 1.21 percent, to settle at 2,043.63. Trading volume stood at 317.2 million shares worth 5.6 trillion won (5.1 billion U.S. dollars).
South Korea's currency finished at 1,101.3 won against the greenback, down 2.5 won from Thursday's close.
