TOKYO, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands just below the 101 yen line early Thursday in Tokyo.
At 9:00 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 100.94-95 yen compared with 100.64-74 yen in New York and 100.75-76 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The euro fetched 1.1223-1224 dollars and 113.29-30 yen against 1.1212-1222 dollars and 112.90-113.00 yen in New York and 1.1192-1193 dollars and 112.76-80 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
