Over 81,000 enterprises newly registered in 9 months in Vietnam

HANOI, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- As many as 81,451 enterprises have newly registered in Vietnam in the first nine months of 2016, up 19.2 percent year-on-year, government agency said Wednesday.

Those enterprises have a registered capital of 629.094 trillion Vietnamese dong (28.21 billion U.S. dollars), up 49.5 percent year-on-year, said Agency of Business Registration under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

On average, each newly-registered enterprise has capital of 7.7 billion Vietnamese dong (345,300 U.S. dollars), said the agency.

Those enterprises have created 928,700 new jobs, down 7.1 percent year-on-year.

Several sectors witness sharp year-on-year increases in number of newly-licensed firms including real estate business, healthcare and social assistance activities, education and training, consultation, design, advertisement and other expertise, among others.

Sectors that lure most laborers include industrial manufacturing and processing, wholesale, retail sale, auto and motorbike repairing, construction, transportation and logistics.

Meanwhile, a total of 8,365 companies have registered to dissolve in nine months, up 20.2 percent year-on-year while 16,294 others halt operation, up 31 percent year-on-year.
