RABAT, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Morocco called Saturday on all Gabonese to respect the ruling rendered by the Constitutional Court of Gabon, the foreign ministry said in a statement.
The court confirmed on Friday the reelection of President Ali Bongo as the head of the country.
Morocco, a strong ally of Gabon, called on Gabonese to uphold the higher interests of the nation, its stability and the prosperity of its people.
The North African kingdom said it is confident that all Gabonese political forces will act in a spirit of unity, understanding and openness, as well as engage in an inclusive and peaceful dialogue. Enditem
