ZAGREB, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Croatian caretaker Prime Minister Tihomir Oreskovic said on Saturday there was a little possibility that migrants could enter Croatia through neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
Croatia was ready for any option, but it was only a speculative possibility, Oreskovic said after Vienna summit, which brought together the leaders from the countries on the so-called Balkan migrant route.
There were very few migrant passing through the country, about 100 in the last six months, he added.
He said the leaders, who attended the summit on the migrant issue organized by Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern due to the rumours that the new migrant wave could soon start moving from Turkey to western Europe, agreed to step up control of the European Union's external borders.
"In pursuit of this goal, we have agreed that the capacities of European Agency for the Management of Operational Cooperation at the External Borders of the Member States of the European Union (Frontex) should be enhanced," he added.
