NANJING, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- One person has died and another five sustained injuries after a gas explosion early Monday ripped through a residential building in the eastern province of Jiangsu.
The blast happened around 4:50 a.m. at a two-storey home in Xinwu District in Wuxi City. There are still some people trapped inside the building, according to the district publicity department.
The injured have been admitted to hospital. The rescue is ongoing, and an investigation is underway.
