MANILA, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- The Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc.(FFCCCII) has extended support for the government's war against illegal drugs by donating 200 pieces of motorcycle protective helmets, police said on Friday.
Police Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde, National Capital Region Police Office Acting Regional Director, said his office received the helmets from FFCCCII to be used by the tactical motorcycle riders in their police operations particularly in the campaign against illegal drugs and criminality.
"These protective motorcycle helmets would be very helpful in the safety of our riders. They are also multipurpose as they can be used by our CDM (Case Monitoring Division) contingents," he said.
Albayalde assured that the NCRPO is committed to providing genuine service and will step up the campaign against illegal drugs and criminality.
The FFCCCII is the largest organization of Filipino-Chinese businessmen in the country.
