MANILA, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Philippine shares closed 0.15 percent lower on Thursday.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index decreased by 11.59 points to 7854.54. The all-share index went up by 1.16 points, or 0.03 percent, to 4663.79.
Trading volume reached 1.14 billion shares worth 7.46 billion pesos (160.15 million U.S. dollars).
There were 98 gainers, 97 losers while 44 stocks closed flat.
