RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- Lisa Carrington from New Zealand seized a gold medal in the women's kayak single 200m in 39.864 seconds in the canoe sprint competition of the 2016 Olympics Games here on Tuesday.

Marta Walczykiewicz from Poland finished in second place in 40.279. Inna Osipenko-Rodomska from Azerbaijan took a bronze medal in 40.401.
