RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 15 (Xinhua) -- Medal races of the men's laser and women's laser radial of sailing competition in the 2016 Olympic Games on Monday have been postponed due to high winds, organiers announced.
After waiting all day with no wind, the change blew away the chances of the two medal races to decide the top three.
Both the men's laser and women's laser radial medal races will be held on Tuesday (August 16), the reserve day set aside for the two classes.
Two other medal races are also scheduled for tomorrow, in the Finn and Nacra 17 events.
