RIO DE RANEIRO, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Max Whitlock of Britain won his second Olympic gold at the Rio Games as he edged teammate Louis Smith in the men's pommel horse final here on Sunday.
Less than two hours ago, Whitlock brought the first Olympic gold in gymnastics for Britain as he won the men's floor exercise.
In the pommel horse final, the 23-year-old led the squad of eight at 15.966 points, 0.133 points ahead of compatriot Smith.
American Alexander Naddour took the bronze medal in 15.700 points.
