RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Teddy Riner and Emilie Andeol, both from France, took the final two judo gold medals as the judo competition at Rio Olympic Games wrapped up on Friday.

In the men's 100kg, Riner's final opponent Hisayoshi Harasawa of Japan was penalized early for defensive posture and false attack. Riner could not score against him, but received a penalty himself for grip avoiding. But with two penalties to one, the gold was Riner's when the five minutes match time had passed.

Riner has now won back-to-back Olympic gold medals and also has a bronze from Beijing Olympic Games. Rafael Silva from Brazil and Israel's Or Sasson earned bronze medals.

In the women's 78kg final, Andeol beat London Olympic champion Idalys Ortiz from Cuba in the golden score additional time as Andeol threw Ortiz and held her down to take the title.

Yu Song of China, the 2015 world champion, lost in the semifinals to Andeol, but went on to clinch the bronze. Kanae Yymabe from Japan picked up the other bronze medal.
