ZAGREB, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- Croatian industrial producer prices fell by 5.5 percent in July compared with same period of last year and it was the 39th consecutive month decrease, the National Bureau of Statistics (DZS) said Friday.
The producer prices in the manufacturing industry fell by 5.2 percent due to slow down of the activity, DZS said, adding it went down by 14.1 percent in mining and quarrying and 5.6 percent in service section.
Comparing with last month, the prices of industrial products on the domestic market were 0.7 percent lower in July and 1 percent lower on foreign markets, it said.
However, the retail trade grew in 22nd month in a row with 2.8 percent increase in June, compared with June 2015, according to the figures from DZS.
But the growth showed a slower rate than expected, it said. Enditem
