NAIROBI, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's electoral body on Thursday published campaign finance rules that set limits on spending by political parties and candidates during campaigning in 2017.

The Independent Electoral and Boundary Commission (IEBC) capped presidential contenders' spending at a maximum of 52 million U.S. dollars, members of parliament 330,000 dollars, and governors, senators and woman representatives 432,000 dollars.
