KUALA LUMPUR, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian stock market ended lower here on Tuesday.
The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,660.23 down 5.00 points or 0.30 percent, and the Emas was at 11,630.39 down 39.07 points or 0.34 percent.
There were 266 gainers, 492 losers and 355 counters traded unchanged.
Turnover declined to 1.91 billion shares valued at 1.83 billion ringgit Malaysia(451.52 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.78 billion shares valued at 2.02 billion ringgit Malaysia(502.36 million U.S. dollars) on Monday.
