YUSHAN, China, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Allister Carter enjoyed an easy 6-1 victory over Thepchaiya Un-Nooh to meet Joe Perry, who beat Neil Robertson 6-2 Saturday evening, in the final of 2016 Snooker World Open held in Yushan, China.

Neither reached 100 points in every single frame of the clash between Carter and Un-Nooh. The latter lost his magic with which he defeated the world championship winner Mark Selby. A 54-point break helped the Thai won his only frame in the fourth. But Carter still dominated in the best of eleven match 6-1.

Perry, on the other table, took a 2-0 lead from the very beginning. Robertson tied 2-2 before the halftime break, but Perry impressed the audience by winning four straight frames and three century breaks in a row. The last frame witnessed his 91-point break and the 6-2 victory over the Aussie.

Carter and Perry will meet in the final of the 2016 Snooker World Open on Sunday.

"It will be a very tough game tomorrow. Few years ago we played several matches. Carter is one of the best players in the world, you know. I have to play very well to win," said Perry on the upcoming final. Enditem
