JAKARTA, July 28 (Xinhua)-- The anti-terror squad of Indonesian police, Densus 88, has captured six militants allegedly linked with the suicide bombing at a police station in Central Java earlier this month, police said here on Thursday.

Three of the militants have been declared suspects on the deadly strike, and detained, said Martinus Sitompul, national police spokesman.

"H, HAR and AH have been sent to prison as they become suspects,"he said at the police headquarters, referring to the initials of three militants.

On July 5, suicide bomber Nurrohman blew himself at the compound of the police station in Solo city of Central Java.

The blast killed the bomber and seriously injured one police officer.

Nurrohman had escaped police hunt six months before he launched the strike. He was a group member of Arif Hidayatullah alias Abu Mush'ab, which is under similar terrorist cell with Bahrun Naim, the mastermind of the suicide bombings in Jakarta on Jan. 24 in which eight people were killed and 28 others injured, according to the police.

Last week, Indonesian security forces shot dead the most-wanted terrorist figure in the country, Santoso alias Abu Wardah, who led East Indonesian Mujahidin (MTI) which has affiliation with the IS group in Syria.
