EGYPT-BENI SUEF-CHINA-BELT AND ROAD-COOPERATIVE TRANSMISSION LINES PROJECT

BENI SUEF, July 19, 2016 (Xinhua) -- A drone is used to help string the wire between power gird towers across the Nile River at Beni Suef Governorate, Egypt, June 30, 2016. Along the Nile River, the Egypt EETC 500kV Transmission Lines Project (EETC Project), a cooperative one between China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co. Ltd (CET) and Egypt is under construction. The over-650-million-dollar EETC Project, which covers almost the whole area of the Nile River delta, is the largest transmission lines project in Egypt's history. (Xinhua/Meng Tao)
