ALGIERS, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika on Friday expressed "outrage" over the "barbaric" attack in Nice, France, that killed at least 84 people on Thursday.

"It is with deep indignation that I learned the horrible terrorist attack that shocked France, killing dozens and injuring many others," reads the condolence message of Bouteflika to his French counterpart, Francois Hollande.

"Terrorism has neither nationality nor religion and recognizes no border," Bouteflika said. "The international community is urged once more to face up to this scourge under the aegis of the United Nations."

A Foreign Ministry spokesperson said earlier on Friday that two Algerian children and a 70-year-old woman were killed in the Nice attack.
