YANGON, July 13 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's government-formed State Sangha Maha Nayaka (Monks') Committee (SSMNC) has announced that there exists only one Sangha (monks) organization within the country, according to the Monks' Organization Charter.

The SSMNC's announcement, published Wednesday, made clear that none of the five congregations of Sangha (monks) of all orders held between 1980 and 2014 has given birth to another organization "the Central Committee to Protect Race and Religion" (CPRR).

The SSMNC, in its announcement, objected CPRR's July 7 announcement, saying that some points in the CPRR announcement are misleading, possibly creating doubt among people, which can result in outbreak of unwanted disturbances.

SSMNC refuted the fact that CPRR is a monks' organization formed according to the Monks' Organization Manual and Charter.
