HANGZHOU, July 9 (Xinhua) -- Rescuers are searching for three workers buried in an underground mudflow in a subway construction site in eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou.
According to local authorities, the mud outburst happened at 10:30 p.m. on Friday. Four injured workers were rushed to hospital immediately and are in stable conditions. Another worker was pulled out later and hospitalized.
As of 9 a.m. Saturday, three workers remain missing.
According to the official microblog of Hangzhou Subway, the foundation pit of the subway was not affected by the accident.
