SARAJEVO, July 5 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC) is in full confidence as its strides forward along a socialist path with Chinese characteristics, a renowned media commentator in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) said here Monday.
Faruk Boric, former president of the Federal News Agency and also chairman of BiH-China Friendship Association, wrote an article about Chinese President Xi Jinping's speech marking the 95th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
He highlighted Xi's emphasis on bringing the whole Party down "the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics."
A confident CPC will constantly push forward China's cause of socialism and influence the whole world in economic, cultural and geopolitical terms, Boric wrote in the article.
He underlined the CPC's anti-corruption drive, saying the issue is of great importance both for the party and the nation.
The veteran commentator also lauded China's policy of opening up to the world, citing Xi's remarks that China is not aimed at building a "private garden" but one for all countries to enjoy.
China's development will make significant contribution to the peace and development of the whole world, Boric wrote to end his piece.
