BELGRADE, June 18 (Xinhua) -- China and Serbia pledged Saturday to continue joint efforts for putting the Hungary-Serbia railway into operation as scheduled.

The two sides made the pledge in a joint statement released during Chinese President Xi Jinping's ongoing state visit to the Balkan country.
