SEOUL, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Park Yu-chun, South Korean actor and a member of K-pop boy band JYJ, faced another charge of sexual assault, the third of its kind in a week, a local broadcaster YTN reported on Friday.

An unidentified woman filed a complaint against Park with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station for allegedly raping her on June 12, 2014.

According to the woman, she met Park the previous day at a bar in Seoul's southern district of Gangnam, before moving to Park's home to drink alcohol with his company.

At about 4 a.m. of the day, Park took her to his home's bathroom and raped her, the woman claimed.

A week ago, the first woman, who filed a complaint against Park for similar charges, claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Park inside the bathroom of a bar in Gangnam.

The 24-year-old woman, the bar's female employee, alleged that Park came to her workplace after midnight on June 3. At around 5 a.m., Park took her to a restroom inside the bar's room and raped her.

The woman reported the case to police a week after the alleged incident, providing her underwear and clothing as evidence that was sent to the National Forensic Service for DNA analysis.

The singer is serving as a public service worker at a district office in Seoul to substitute for his military duty of about 2 years. Some of K-pop singers caused troubles with their purchase of sex while on their military service.

The first woman, who dropped her complaint against Park on Wednesday, said she originally filed the suit as she felt disrespected by Park and his colleagues after having sex, according to local media reports.

Police is being investigating the first case, though the woman dropped charges, as sexual offenders should be punished regardless of the complainant's willingness.

The second complaint was filed against Park by another woman in her 20s on Thursday for raping her in December last year inside the bathroom of a bar in Gangnam. The complaint was also filed with the Gangnam Police Station.

Park's agency C-Jes Entertainment dismissed all of the charges as groundless, but said Park will retire if any of those proves true.
