ZHENGZHOU, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- A building collapse in central China's Henan Province on Friday afternoon has left three workers dead, 24 injured and two missing.
The building in Beiwudu Town, Wuyang County suddenly collapsed at around 3:30 p.m. when the workers were renovating it, said the county's publicity authorities.
Rescuers have retrieved three bodies from the debris and pulled out 24 others alive. Six of the injured are in a serious condition.
The local government believes there were 29 workers inside the building when it collapsed, Rescuers are searching for the two left unaccounted for.
The cause of the accident is unknown.
