BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao called for more communication and cooperation with foreign peace advocacy organizations on Friday, the 30th anniversary of the founding of China's largest non-governmental peace association.
The Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD) was founded in 1985 and has established cooperative ties with more than 300 of its counterparts in over 90 countries and regions.
China's development can not be realized without a stable international order and help from other countries, Li said.
He urged the CPAPD to coordinate with its foreign partners to carry out education campaigns.
