HONG KONG, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- Taiwan's share prices closed lower Thursday with the weighted index down 94.91 points, or 1.1 percent, to close at 8,571.08, according to news reaching here from Taipei.
Turnover totaled 85.31 billion new Taiwan dollars (about 2.62 billion U.S. dollars).
