LME base metals mostly increase on Wednesday

LONDON, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed higher mostly on Wednesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 3 U.S. dollars, or 0.06 percent, to 5,224 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price increased 8 dollars, or 0.54 percent, to 1,493 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 1 dollars, or 0.06 percent, to 1,752 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price increased 4.5 dollars, or 0.26 percent, to 1,749.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 75 dollars, or 0.71 percent, to 10,587.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 112.5 dollars, or 0.73 percent, to 15,325 dollars a tonne.
