BEIJING, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- A 7.8-magnitude earthquake, at a depth of 210 km, hit the Hindu Kush mountains of Afghanistan at 5:09:32 p.m. Beijing Time on Monday, said the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 36.5 degrees north latitude and 70.8 degrees east longitude, according to the CENC.
