FUZHOU, China, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- A male athlete of track and field from team Urumqi tested positive to banned substance dexamethasone on Oct. 19, the first competition day of the ongoing first Chinese Youth Games, announced the Organizing Committee here on early Monday.
According to the Organizing Committee, the athlete gave up the test of sample B, and asked for a provisional hearing. The Organizing Committee confirmed his positive test after the hearing. The athlete was banned from the games and all his results were cancelled.
