BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said the economy has overcome major obstacles, but pressures still remain. He made these remarks at the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Friday.
Li said the government faces major challenges ahead, such as domestic economic structural issues and the sluggish global economy. The government is using targeted measures to stabilize growth and job creation. Li said the government needs to deepen reforms and continue opening up the economy to lift the country's growth. He adds he is confident that economy still has huge growth potential.
