TOKYO, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 120 yen range early Friday in Tokyo on speculation the European Central Bank will conduct additional credit easing.
At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 120.89-90 yen compared with 120.61-71 yen in New York and 119.68-70 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The euro fetched 1.1082-1083 dollars and 133.98-99 yen against 1.1104-1114 dollars and 134.04-14 yen in New York and 1.1311-1313 dollars and 135.37-41 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon.
