LONDON, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping has started talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday afternoon at 10 Downing Street.
Xi arrived in London on Monday evening for a state visit to Britain at the invitation of Queen Elizabeth II. It is the first state visit by a Chinese president in 10 years.

Britain holds royal welcome for Chinese president on "super" state visit
LONDON, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- A traditional ceremonial welcome held by British Queen Elizabeth II for visiting Chinese President Xi Jinping kicked off at noon Tuesday in central London with the presence of senior royal family members and political leaders.
The Chinese president and his wife Peng Liyuan had been greeted by Prince Charles on behalf of the Queen at their hotel and traveled with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall to Horse Guards Parade for the ceremony. Full story
