HALMSTAD, Sweden, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Reigning world champion Ma Long swept Fan Zhendong 4-0 in an all-Chinese final to claim his second table tennis World Cup on Sunday.
The 2012 winner played an aggressive game to overcome the youngster teammate, winning China's sixth straight World Cup.
Vladimir Samsonov of Belarus was the last non-Chinese to triumph in the annual event when he defeated Chinese Chen Qi in the 2009 final.
In the semifinals earlier, Ma Long beat Germany's Dimitrij Ovtcharov 4-0, and Fan, the Youth Olympics gold medalist, ousted Japan's Jun Mizutani 4-1.
Ovtcharov and Mizutani finished joint third.
