TIANJIN, China, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland qualified for the WTA Finals following a straight-set victory in the Tianjin Open final on Sunday.
The world No. 6, who broke Montenegrin Danka Kovinic five times without being broken herself, won 6-1, 6-2 over 58 minutes and secured a slot in Singapore next month.
Radwanska was the fifth player to qualify for the year-end championship, after Maria Sharapova, Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova and Garbine Muguruza. World No. 1 Serena Williams has opted out to rest and recover from injuries.
