ZHENGZHOU, Oct.18 (Xinhua) -- A Chrysanthemum cultural festival kicked off on Sunday in central China's Henan Province, attracting tourists from both home and abroad.
More than 2.05 million potted chrysanthemums are on display in Kaifeng City, where the festival is being held.
Over 20 cultural activities will be staged during the month-long event, including chrysanthemum competitions, poetry performances and chrysanthemum tea seminars.
Kaifeng is known as the City of Chrysanthemums, and the flowers have been cultivated there since the Song Dynasty (960-1276).
