BEIJING, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao on Friday held talks with his Bolivian counterpart, Alvaro Garcia Linera, on deepening bilateral ties.
Praising the fast development of bilateral ties in recent years, Li said China is willing to implement the consensus reached by the two presidents with Bolivia.
China will maintain high-level exchanges and visits with Bolivia, and expand cooperation on finance, energy and mines, infrastructure, industry, technology and other areas as the two observe the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties, Li said.
Garcia said Bolivia attaches great importance to relations with China and is willing to deepen comprehensive mutually beneficial cooperation to benefit both sides.
Prior to the talks, Li held a welcoming ceremony for Garcia.
Garcia is in China for an official visit from Thursday to Saturday at the invitation of Li.
