TOKYO, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 118 yen zone early Thursday in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.85-93 yen compared with 118.81-91 yen in New York and 119.60-62 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The euro fetched 1.1474-1474 dollars and 136.36-38 yen against 1.1469-1479 dollars and 136.29-39 yen in New York and 1.1414-1415 dollars and 136.51-55 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
