DHAKA, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- The body of the Italian Cesare Tavella, who was killed here, has been handed over to the Italian embassy.
Italian embassy officials received Tavella's body at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital's mortuary at around 12:10 p.m. local time on Wednesday afternoon.
The body of the Italian national was handed over to the embassy a day after Japanese national Hosie Kunio, who was gunned down here on Oct. 3, was laid to eternal rest on Tuesday morning.
Kunio was buried at a graveyard in Bangladesh's northern Rangpur city.
