GUANGZHOU, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) -- Zhang Zhijun, director of the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, and cross-Strait affairs chief Andrew Hsia from Taiwan began a work meeting on Wednesday morning.
The two sides are expected to discuss issues on cross-Strait relations during the meeting.
Hsia arrived in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province, on Tuesday afternoon for his first mainland visit since he took office in February.
