RABAT, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Officials from around the globe started in the Moroccan capital Rabat on Monday discussing proposed climate action plans ahead of the United Nations climate conference COP21, planned to be held in Paris in December.
The Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) Forum is organized by the European Commission, the Moroccan government, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP).
It brings together around 200 participants, including policy makers, high level government officials, expert organizations and representatives from the academia, the private sector and civil society.
The participants will also discuss policy responses to help put the world on track to limiting dangerous climate change.
